Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem...
[surah Al-Hadid]
The background of this surah was introduced yesterday. The Surah serves as a re-awakening for the Muslims who had began to lose motivation, and a warning for those who had become hypocrites.
So Allaah (subhanahu wa ta'alah) says;
"Sabbaha lillaahi ma fissamawaati wal Ard..."
Everything in the heavens and the earth glorifies Allaah/declares His perfection"
(so how about you? why aren't you doing the same, what happened to your tasbih?)
wa huwal 'Azeez,-and He's the ultimate authority (so how come you don't respect this Authority??)
Al-Hakeem - full of wisdom
(then why don't you trust that the things He tells you to do are good for you? why have you no confidence in His wisdom??).
Lahu mulkussamaawaati wal ard-The kingdom of the heavens and the earth belongs to Him. (so is there any reason to fear other than Him? nothing is outside His kingdom, so what is it of your enemy's power, wealth or weapon that you fear, its all inside of His kingdom.
or is it death you're afraid of?
yuhyi wa yumeet,- He gives life and causes death, (so why worry about what was never yours to keep (your life)).
wa huwa 'ala kulli shay'in qadeer- and He is in control of everything.
