Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem
[Surah Al-Hadid]
so Allaah says, "in kuntum mu'miniin" IF infact you're believers.
There's a Question mark on the Faith now; you start to think "SubhanAllaah! so is there a chance my imaan(faith) has gone so low that its as though its no longer there??" or is it even still there?? what can I do then? how can I revive my Imaan all over again??
Allaah gives us a solution ofcourse, in the next Ayaah He says, "Huwalladhii yunazzilu 'ala 'abdihi ayaatim bayyinaatil-liyukhrijakum minadh(dh)ulumaati ilannur...
-He it is who sends clear signs (Ayaatim bayyinat-such as the communication of the Qur'aan) upon His slave (Muhammad salAllaahu alayhi wa sallam). so he can bring you out of darkness into light...
SubhanAllah...Usually Allaah refers to the kuffar as in darkness, but here Allaah refers to the Muslims as in darkness; the darkness of hypocrisy, doubt, weakness of Imaan(faith)...So Allaah sends Ayaats not just for the Kuffaar(non-believers) to become Muslims(those who submit to the will of God), but for the Muslims to become Mu'mins(true believers)...subhanAllah...
and Allaah makes a comment thereafter...
