Ramadhaan Ten: From the Light of the Qur'aan

Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem

[Surah Al-Hadid]

So we mentioned yesterday that Allaah had sent the Ayaats, as a means to get us out of darkness and into light.
and He says thereafter;

"wa innallaaha bikum lara'uufur-Raheem." -and Allaah in your case, has always been compassionate/kind & merciful

So Allaah gave us the Qur'aan to keep our imaan fresh and alive, and for us to have weak imaan, we must have a weak relationship with the Qur'aan.

And our Imaan is the most valuable gift we can have, when its intact then everything else is okay, but when we don't have imaan, even if we have the whole world in our hands nothing is okay. we are going to go in front of Allaah bankrupt, and our clothes, money, cars, children; none of these would be with us. The only thing that will be worth anything is as Allaah says, "illaa man ataa Allaah bi Qalbin Saleem" -going to Allaah with a Pure, Sound Heart - and this is what Imaan does to our hearts, it purifies our hearts...

So Allaah says these Ayaats, The Qur'aan, they're there so we can have Imaan, because He cares about us, "la ra'uufur-Raheem" out of His kindness & Mercy...
And to add to that, He gave us a necessary exercise where we can go back to the Qur'aan to cleanse our hearts again & again & again...Salaah.
So Salaah is supposed to be a mechanism by which our hearts get cleansed. -Hence the importance of understanding the Qur'aan and engaging with it in our Salaah as well...

To be continued in sha Allaah..
