Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Rahmeen.
[Surah Al Hadid]
so Allaah continues (after mentioning His attributes) He says,
"...wa huwa ma'akum aina maa kuntum". - and He is with you wherever you may be.
if we would understand this single part of the Ayah, our actions will immediately change.
-the words you speak,
-the places you go
-the things you do (even when others aren't there)
-everything will change
for instance, do people act differently when their boss in the room? how about when they see a police officer around the corner while driving? or when they know there's a surveillance camera in the room...?? they just adopt taqwa automatically don't they??
so if we internalize "huwa ma'akum aina ma kuntum" then we'll certainly change our behaviors, because Allah's with us always nd whereever. and if we haven't changed yet then it means we havent put it into our hearts yet, its still just in our heads. subhanAllaah.
Also, the word "ma'a" is not just used to mean "with" but its used for someone who's there to support you. there are other words meaning with as well but Allaah used this word and it not just means he's with you, but that he's with you supporting you. And this was the word Rasulullaah salAllaahu Alayhi wa sallam used to give confidence to Abubakar in the cave when he said, "la tahzan, innallaaha ma'ana" (don't worry, Allaah is with us (supporting us, nd protecting us).
so internalizing this and remembering it always would increase our confidence too in sha Allaah. may Allaah increase our understanding
To be continued in sha Allaah...
