Ramadhaan six: From the Light of the Qur'aan

Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem.

[Surah Al-Hadid]

'wa huwa 'aliimum bizaatis-suduur' -and He has full knowledge of what goes on in the chest.

This means, He knows who we are really are!
if we are going to have a relationship with Allaah, we need to remember these words.
People might have a good opinion of you or a bad opinion of you, but none of that guarantees what Allah's opinion of you is.
If people think we're great for example, that is not a guarantee that Allaah thinks so too. and likewise if people think we're terrible.
So when people praise us, we must not let ourselves be deluded into thinking we've already got a pass with Allaah. Because when people start to feel good about themselves just because they've been praised by people and made to think they're really good;
-hypocrisy sets in
-they begin to feel self-righteous
-they lose everything in the sight of Allaah.
and when they come in front of Allaah, He says to them "you got what you were looking for, you've got nothing with me" SubhanAllah! (may Allaah save us from this)

so Also, when people make others feel all messed up and tell them how terrible they are (because the people don't get to see their inner passion to change, their good intentions), so much so that they (who are criticized) allow themselves to give up hope in Allaah's mercy, they believe what the people have said and give up the effort they would have made to change, telling themselves "well maybe I really am so bad"

In the end, they go in front of Allaah, Allaah says to them "I didn't judge you, I kept the doors of tawbah open for you, why did you give up on me?? dont blame the people blame yourself!"

so we really need to internalize "wa huwa 'aliimum bi zaatis-suduur" He knows who I am on the inside, my thoughts, my intentions, etc.

these are the six Ayahs about Allaah...
we'll learn about what Allaah has to say after this in sha Allaah...

To be continued in sha Allaah...
