Ramadhaan Twenty two: From the Light of the Qur'an

Bismillaahir Rahmaanir Raheem

[Suratul Asr]

So Allaah tells us in the beginning of the Ayaah that we are drowning in loss, and He swears by the time, as a witness to that..and he says it in singular here, so its like saying, "Each Human being is in loss" -so that when we come to this Ayaah we don't think of anyone else but our ownselves, -you and I are personally in loss.

Makes you want to pause and think about this...

So but then Allaah makes an exception, He says;

illaalladhiina Aamanu-except those who believe
wa amilus saalihaat- AND do good (deeds)
wa tawasaw bil haqq-AND counsel each other to the truth wa tawasaw bissabr- AND counsel each other to patience.

So Allaah tells us except a group of people who accomplish these four these; not one or two or three of them, but all four of them..He didn't say, this "Or" this "or" that, but he used "And" which means the only way you and I won't be at loss is when we accomplish all four of them.
